AOKP ROM Android 4.4.2 KitKat for Galaxy S4! [All U.S Variants]

AOKP ROM for the Galaxy S4 T-Mobile, AT&T, Canadian, Verizon, Sprint, U.S Cellular, and Cricket variants is all based off the latest Android version, Android 4.4.2. AOKP ROM is currently one of the most popular ROMS for a wide variety of Android devices. 

 Even though this ROM is based off the nightly build I haven't seen any major problems with this ROM. Features like your WiFi, Data, calling, camera, etc all work without any problems at all! However, some AOKP features don't seem to be working and will probably get fixed when the next nightly is released. 

 AOKP ROM offers quite of bit of features for your Galaxy S4 handset. All within ROM control in Settings you have features like recent RAM bar, tap the status bar to sleep, change the function of the hardware keys, and my favorite one that allows you to change toggle to the traditional scrollable option above notifications!

 From Paranoid Android you get PIE Control and different UIs such as phone, phablet, and tablet UIs. AOKP gives you a lot of features like recent RAM, kill all, allow all widgets on the lockscreen, different types of battery looks, and a lot more. 

 And lastly, CyanogenMod 10.1. With CyanogenMod you get a lot of control for your homescreen like amount of pages, transition effects, grid size, etc. You also get those awesome slider shortcuts on your lockscreen too!

AOKP is a great ROM for multiple reasons. Specfically in this build new features were added like, unlimited amount of widgets on your lockscreen, put any type of widget on your lockscreen, and so many other great features!

 This ROM also is very stable and can definitely be used as a daily driver. Using AOKP as your daily driver you will experience alot of great features that you don't usually get with other ROMS. 

 Overall, AOKP is a great ROM that I personally love and use it on a daily basis. Download this ROM using the links below...DO NOT forget Gapps!

New Features added:

Stopwatch & Countdown in the Clock app (CyanogenMOD)

How to Install Official AOKP Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy Nexus [GSM/Verizon] 

You MUST have ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your phone!
Click Here for Mac
Click Here for Windows 

1. Download AOKP Jelly Bean ROM and Gapps from the links above

2. Connect you phone to your computer via microUSB and transfer the files
Mac Users - Use Android File Transfer to transfer the zip files to your phone.

 3. Enter into ClockworkMod Recovery Mode
Power off your phone > Hold the volume up, volume down, and power button at the same time. Keep holding until you feel a vibration. (You will now see a green start screen) > Press the volume up 2x and power button to select "Recovery"

4. Select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset", go back.

5. Select "Wipe Cache Partition", go back.

6. Selet "Advanced" > "Wipe Dalvik Cache"

7. Go back and select "Install zip from sd card" > "Choose zip from sd card" > Find the AOKP Jelly Bean zip file you transfered earlier. 

 8. Select "Choose zip from sd card" and install the gapps zip file.

9. Go back and select "Reboot system now". Wait at least 10 minutes for your phone to boot up and enjoy your custom rom!
