How to Root Verizon HTC One M8 2014!

It didn't take too long to get the Verizon HTC One M8 rooted! This guide will show you a step-by-step tutorial to completely root the Verizon HTC One M8 literally within a few minutes!

This method has been known to work with other HTC devices, but it was truly only meant for the Verizon HTC One M8. Rooting your phone brings a lot of benefits to an already great phone! A couple of things that I do right away is remove any unwanted apps like HTC or carrier bloatware apps, get WiFi tether if it's available, and use Titanium Backup.

Follow this guide below to root the Verizon HTC One M8!

1. Go into Settings and make sure that "Unknown Sources" is enabled. This is usually located under the "Security" section.

2. Download directly to your phone using the link below.

3. At the top notification area tap on "" to open it up.

4. Tap on "WeakSauce-1.0.1.apk" and select "Install".

5. A message will pop up on your phone. Tap on "Accept".

6. You will reach a disclaimer message. Select "Yes" to root your HTC One M8.

7. Go to the Play Store app and install the free SuperSU app.

8. Open up the SuperSU app and update the Binary if your notified to do so.

You are done! Your Verizon HTC One M8 is fully rooted and allows you to use apps like ROM Manager and Titanium Backup!

Use this app to confirm that you are rooted!

Q: What happens if I reboot my phone?
A: Every time you fully turn on your phone WeakSauce will re-root your device.
